Okayy, this is one of the most memorable days of my life so far.
Not because of the last match at national stadium, not because of the closing of the grand old stadium, definately not of anything else.
But, because, I fucking saw my Mark viduka & Harry kewell (very close view too, when they came to salute the fans after the match), and the rest of the Australian team ( Europe-based stars like Mark schwarzer, Lucas neill, Brett emerton, Tim cahill, Vince Grella, Marco Bresciano, Jason culina etc)
Not so much about the rest, but it's a memorable one because of my two childhood Leeds heroes (:
They look fucking big and tall in real life, alot more than on Tv, i swear. And Kewell is exceptionally good-looking, in real life.
Too bad, no one brought a digi cam. Handphones aren't clear enough. We sat at the Australian corner & they salute us all, Kewell even throwing an autographed ball up to the crowd. Those Aussies, you could see they idolise Kewell like mad.
And there are some malays (low-classed, what i call) near our area shouting to the aussies to shut up. More than anything, i'll respect the aussies. They're exceptionally sporting, singing their hearts out throughout the match & the best thing, they don't boo or jeer our country. Bu what about our country ? What an image to portray to them.
